North Delhi Power Limited
NDPL distributes electricity in the North & North West areas of Delhi. NDPL is a Joint Venture between Tata Power and Govt. of NCT of Delhi as a result of the privatisation of electricity distribution in Delhi on July 1, 2002.

The DRUM Program assists NDPL in creating a center of excellence. In this regard, Shaktinagar Business Unit (Zones 422 & 425) is selected as the pilot site for implementation of DRUM program. The main issues at this site includes low voltage in many areas, a predominantly overhead network with high accident risk, high technical losses due to high customer density and corresponding higher currents in the LT system and lack of automation of the MIS and poor customer service orientation.
