Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Determinants and Performance of Electricity Distribution Sector in India
The key performance indicators (KPl) for the DRUM sites are measured and captured on monthly basis to improve service quality, power supply availability & reliability, customer services, financial performance etc. The aim is to reach the set target level of KPI parameters so that the objective of creation of "Centre of Excellence" is achieved.
The process of data capturing, disseminating the learning, monitoring the performance is well institutionalised. DRUM team has conducted the workshops on KPI improvement strategy at all three pilot site locations. The KPI performance on all the 15 identified parameters are captured and amongst them, the three most important indices depicting major focus areas is continuously being published in newsletter for all three pilot sites to judge the progress and to bring more focused attention for achieving the target value.
